Our Story

The Northwest Gardener is a full-service landscaping, irrigation and grounds maintenance company. Whether you need completely new landscape, renovation of existing landscape or full maintenance of present grounds, you'll find we not only satisfy your needs, but exceed your expections. We pride ourselves in being the best we can be.

We offer residential and commercial landscaping and irrigation, and we work hard to earn and keep your business.

Doug Lundstrom's photo

Doug Lundstrom

Doug began in the landscaping business in his hometown of Spokane in 1974, moved from Spokane to the Eastside in 1980 and ventured out on his own in 1984 to begin The Northwest Gardener. Doug is a Certified Landscape Technician as well as a licensed Pesticide Applicator and is currently interested in ways to organically reduce pests and unwanted weeds.

Connie Lundstrom

Connie started her first business owning a Hair Salon and Spa business in Spokane. In 1985, Connie added a second location in The Coeur d'Alene Resort, located in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. She joined Doug in 1991 at The Northwest Gardener. She is the Business Manager, along with managing the Flower Designs for the Commercial Installation Division of The Northwest Gardener.

Hunter Lundstrom

Hunter began working for The Northwest Gardener part time at fourteen. Throughout the years, he has been an integral part of the NWG team. Hunter attended Washington State University and Whatcom Community College prior to earning his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management at Western Washington University in 2016. Presently Hunter serves as the Maintenance Division Manager.
